The Harvard Museum of Natural History is one of the first important places to visit in Boston. This place has the fossils of a triceratops and a glass sculpture of floral art.

Another interesting museum to visit while in Boston is the MIT Museum in which you will find several robots and several freakazoids!

For people who want to have a complete downtown experience of traditional Boston, the Haymarket is a place that must not be missed.

This is a typical rural peasants’ market and it is an experience that is like no other. People come back from this market with their bags full of goodies and their wallets not a bit lighter!

If you are enamored by old style architecture and culture, visit the Beacon Hill. You will feel as though someone has turned you back in time. A similar experience can be had in the Old State House, where you stand to learn a bit of the history of Boston, including a learning experience about the Freedom Trail.

Nature-lovers must not miss the New England Aquarium and the Franklin Park Zoo when they are in Boston. The New England Aquarium also has several boat tours which tourists can totally enjoy. A whale watching cruise is also part of the package.

The Franklin Park Zoo sprawls over 72 acres and is populated with several of the most interesting animal species from the Savannahs.

Here are the must-do top 10 things to do in Boston. If you are on a budget we have tips on free things to do in Boston or if you travel with kids we have tips on things to do with kids in Boston.
