Great article, I followed a link from @thehomeorg. Of course you couldn't include everything, but I need to add some places that just can't be missed. If you aren't able to stay for dinner, stop by Tony's to pick up your main course, and some excellent Italian groceries. Don't feel like meat tonight? The Roslindale Fish Market has the freshest fish in the city! And Greek groceries. For lunch, don't forget the possibility of Blue Star or Village Sushi and Grill. In the winter, I love to get the Ok dol. That will warm you up no matter how cold you are. And finally, after a stroll through the Thrift Shop after lunch, you can stop by Select Cafe for coffee or ice cream. So, yes, come visit us in Roslindale, and enjoy!

Thanks for the review! I love your description of the Hall of Ideas about the quotes being set free. David Small's installation is really gorgeous.

Just wanted to throw in two quick corrections:

Find us at www.marybakereddylibrary.org (not .com) and admission is $6 general, but $4 for students, seniors, and kids under 17. Children under 6 are admitted absolutely free. In a college town like Boston, we see a lot of students so I thought that one might be worth mentioning!

So glad you enjoyed your visit!

One thing that I loved about Boston is that it is so steeped in history. It played such a large part in the formation of this country. It was incredible to actually be there and see some of these places in person. I would definitely recommend it as a top travel destination. http://www.bostonhotel.net
